Dr. Seuss-Inspired Photo Booth & Props

Why not perk up a party with a Dr. Seuss-inspired Photo Booth (along with coordinating props)?

PDFs can be printed at home, although, the sisters³ decided to use FedEx Kinko's for a small price.

Props were easily attached to 12 inch wooden dowels (found at any Craft Supply Store). With the props printed on card stock, they adhered easily to each dowel (using “E6000“, the preferred glue of sisters³).

Printable PDF's of Photo Booth Props can be found below:

Big Red Bow Tie

Cat In The Hat

Dr. Seuss Glasses

Thing 1 & Thing 2 Hair

Lorax Mustache

“Oh What Fun” Word Bubble

Thing 1 Sign

Thing 2 Sign

The backdrop was created using Dr. Seuss & plain Red and Blue Scrapbooking Paper, and chains were hung on a Portable Photography Backdrop Stand (available through Portable Photography Backdrop Stand). Four pieces of paper were used for each chain – first cut down the middle and then cut with an approx. 3 inch width. Used staples to make chains.

Baby Shower Game: Guess The Children’s Book Title

Guess the Children's Book's REAL Name! Perfect for a Baby Shower with a 'Book Theme'.

Guests do their best to determine the REAL name of the popular Children's book.

For example:

Q: ‘A Small Persevering Locomotive’

A: ‘The Little Engine that Could’

Printable PDFs of the Game (and Answer Key) can be found below:

The great thing about this game? Guests are able to participate at any point during the shower, allowing a more casual approach to 'Shower Games'. Towards the end of the shower, the cards are scored and the winner announced!
